I have one thats stock that was on a mod murray, i ran it with the governer and it was scarey fast - i have another briggs 18HP that i was trying to set up dual carbs on to see if it even ran ( was missing carb and intake) , i bot a couple street scooter carbs at a flea market - i was thinking of hooking one up with a custom intake possibly. Its still up in the air what ill use on it.

I already have both - the 700 peerless and the RAGB - the 1:1 RAGB i bot off ebay for $25 because a pulley is stuck on it ( ill have to cut if off) .

Itll be a bit before i get working on it - i have a few other projects and stock mowers to work on first.

Dont think those scooter carbs will do. Ive seen people put snowmobile carbs on twins. Works great and gives them lots of power.

I bought my 700 togheter with a little RER rear axle with ballbearings for 50 bucks.
My toro groundmaster has a RAGB on the rotted out mowing deck. Im hoping i can save the deck, but if i cant save the deck i wil use the RAGB for a project or something.

When you do start to build yout ratrod mower, be sure to put it up on the forum.

Slick looking exhaust! I bet the twin barks now.
You might want to make a skid plate or 2 to keep the pipes from getting damaged

Thanks. Sure does, sounds mean. Wil be putting a vid on youtube of it running.

The pipes are Made with very thick metal so i am not worried about bending/denting them. Just worried about breaking them off the engine or something like that.
Im problably gonna make some more supports out of flat stock and bolting it to the frame.
Skid plate is a pretty good idea to keep brush and such from the exhaust.

If youre worried about your exhaust breaking an expensive fix to that would be flex pipe, like how they have on cars.

Actually, 18" of 1-1/4" flex cost me 6 bucks.

Is it really that cheap? Screw pipe fittings, im probably gonna pick some of that up when it comes time to do exhaust.

I got it from a place called Greggs Distributors in Canada. If it was that cheap up here it should be comparable there.

you'll have to look around for it.
Its Galvinized steel exhaust flex pipe.

I like it because it reminds me of the old classic cars like the buick Roadmaster

That Yard King is a rare model. Made by Murray in the early 1990's. I have only seen 2 others in my 3 years of Murray research

Here in the US there arent very many. Murray only offered the Yard King with that body for a year and most were shipped overseas

i know streetlegalkarts on Youtube has one that originally had a 12 hp briggs. he calls it the mud king and also put a 18 hp tin in there.
