Hey guys so last weekend i got the all terrain mower driving again. However the steering ball joint went on it but update #11 is almost ready and will explain and show you the fix. Thanks to all of you who answered any questions or queries i asked on here during the modification stages.

it wouldnt really take much and would sound almost the same but it wouldnt be blowing exhaust in your face and stuff like a stack and would be out of the way Very Happy

I did the same thing when i made my clutch and later found out putting the clutch on the other side is a lot better, because its on the "slack side". The engine pulls the belt tight like a rope from axle pulley to engine pulley and you dont want a clutch on the "tensioned" side of the belt. if you look at any stock mower that isn't vari drive, the clutch is on the side opposite to you.

Thats interesting. I only put it on that side because thats the side the varidrive was mounted so it was easy to mount it there. The belt is very well tensioned there anyway and slackens off nicely when the clutch is pushed down so i'll probably just leave it there. Thanks for that information though!
