PostSubject: Faster Grandpa faster   Sun Mar 17, 2013 10:16 am

Hi I'm new to forum. When ever I take my grandkids for a ride on my tractor they yell "Faster Grandpa faster". I want to change the pulley on my c-120 wheel horse to a smaller pulley. I am not sure how to measure it or how small I want to go. I'm thinking this is the place to find out. Please help. Thank you.

It's a geared tranny right? You can't swap a hydro, but if it is geared a 1:1 ratio should give you around 15, if its a 5 speed or 6. Btw welcome to the form

PostSubject: NEW TO THE FORUM   Sun Mar 17, 2013 11:44 am

Hello everyone, like a lot of you have in the last 2 days, I saw FearlessFront's "Update Everything!" video on YouTube, where he mentioned a forum started by JunkStarBuilds that was all about off road mowers. Immediately, I decided to register to the forum. My name is Jack, I live in Northern Ontario, Canada. Currently own a variety of non-road vehicles, from bicycles to an '86 Kawasaki Bayou. But most of my fun comes from my mower romps in the back forty. I have owned/built many tractors for various purposes, and usually sell them after a few years of ownership. Currently own 3 tractors [due to my limited storage space...], an 80's Craftsman 8HP 38" [unmodded at the moment], a '99 Craftsman LT1000 [grass only], and a 1991 John Deere F1145 Diesel Commercial mower. The 80's Craftsman is by build project for the spring/summer of 2013. I work full time, 8-6 during the week, but I am very experienced with mechanical stuff and can help anyone that has a problem. Fire off a personal message sometime if you got something that's not working out! Oh, and happy St. Patrick's Day!
