Hi all...

been reading and checking out the pages here... lots of good info... I have a probably 2001 or 2002 Craftsman LT1000 my 9 year old son wants to convert into something else... we are not sure.. he says ATV... I say a hotrod...

hope to soak in as much info as I can!

Maybe build a atv then find another mower later and build your hot rod. Glad to have you here, from racers to lifted mowers we have all the builds.

Thank you guys! it is nice to know theres people willing to lend a hand (typing lol)!

I am sure I will be posting something, once we come up with the decision on what to do with it...

it has a 16.5HP Briggs on it... so I assume its a decent little motor... not looking into crazy fast (either way, hotrod or ATV)...

I saw a thread where someone had done this (ATV) to the exact same mower... so that was some inspiration right there!
