I'm doing 3" off the ground to the bottom of the frame rails.

maybe 4"?

If I build it like on the picture, the tire half will be the ground clearance. That should be good, like bottom of rim and frame are level?

And look at that hood lol it's huge. Im kinda split to cut it up or not still, oh well a Mini is a mini Very Happy

Masked the dents, dings and holes first with masking tape, then broke the "clear coat layer" in one end and off they went.
Lucky cause I can't find them anywhere.

Brought me the 420 chain Motocross chain for the Peerless 700 gearbox today, it was a perfect fit. Very tight and snug fit around the sprockets

Got new nuts for the douglas Alloy rims. Those nuts supplied with the 1-1/4" spindles has the taper on them. The rims does not, so they are un-usable.
Sooo.. got these 1/2" hardened lug nuts with pre-mounted shims on them, I think they are for a Ford truck originally. They are beefy!

Designed the Peerless 700 Mount plate today, What you guys think. It's a mockup cut in a gasket material just to check if the holes lined up correctly. And as you see they did. Very Happy

Also want some views on the slot for the chain. YES, I know it will be strong enough in 12/15mm T6 Aluminium but it should also be strong enough in 1/4" Steel.

I did the slot so we can get the chain more lined up and closer to the rear axle, more teeth on the sprocket and then maybe not use a chain tensioner but only a chain guide.

Also note how the platemount will hug the input shaft support.

AYP? It is stock 13" wide, well I drew it, so it can be the width you want lol. And you would get it free, but pay for shipping. That might still be expensive tho, since im in Norway Razz

That would make a great sprocket hub... splined, beefy and you could Bolt the sprocket for quick easy adjustments for ratio
