 Mtd tranny lock???

Is there any way to lock a mtd single speed tranny? Is it possible? I have looked in it and can't figure it out any help out there?

tighten the bolt on the side of the steel differential case (inside the tranny)

Yes its very possible using fearless's method.. Just not easy.. Fozzy lock is not the way to go. The gears are not strong enough to take the abuse like that. Welding to the pin is the way to go.

I've locked my mtd single speed tranny it was tough but it works and I've had no trouble with it
