I have a new toy, Craftsman LT1000, and was thinking about lifting it a little.. not nothing major maybe a couple 3-4 inches. Was wondering how I might could go about it without spending a ton of time or money. any ideas or tips from experienced mower lifters would be appreciated..

I lifted my 74 Murray 4in in the rear, and put 24s in the front so it sits higher but you don't have to lift the front end any. To me it's a lot simpler and doesn't cost a whole lot, with yours you will need a pillow block bearing to raise the pulley up, the rest is pretty simple. Got any pictures? I'll walk you through the steps if I can see a few pictures of it. Here's the build on the Murray. But my Murray is side drive so I just had to get a longer belt for it.
