 peerless 700 vs foote

is there any diference between a peerless 700 and a foote tranny other than the h style shifting like internials bolt pattern ect......

If I remember correctly, the foote has crappy shift keys as opposed to the Peerless. I think the peerless has bigger shafts... Foote has beefier gears. There was something about these on another lawnmower modding site they compared the 2 of them.

Heres a foote Im going to use someday...
