Well, a lot of people put "eyes" on their headlights like that. Look at the 400ex riders and the Banshee riders with the "bug eye" headlights. The first thing I did to my 400ex when I got it was put duct tape over the lights like that.

I am replacing the transaxle with one from my aws noma (stronger case). I put regular axles in it and put 25" rear tires on the trans, so I am going to put it in this. the trans that is in it eats shift keys and has no brakes so I am replacing it. I may have to put on gt rear fenders to clear the tires, and if I do that I will put the rear mount gas tank on it.

I got it done and it seems to work really good. I hope to go on a romp soon and test it out. this thing's biggest issue was traction, both when you wanted to go and when you didn't. If you tried to go over an obstacle your tire would spin and you would have to drag it or push it. when you tried to stop (and especially when you really needed to stop) one of the tires would spin backwards and you would crash. this should be a hundred times better, since the wheels cannot freewheel unless it is in neutral.

Ok small update, I took it for a ride the other day and it seems to be working fine still. my buddy was driving it and it stopped, and made a grating noise when in gear. I figured shift keys, so we got out the GT and drug this thing back to the shop. pulled the trans out, and spun the input shaft. the pulley was spinning on the input shaft! I got another key and we put it back together. Works fine now, which I'm glad, since this is the AWS case and I was afraid it was busted. We have taken it on several romps and it has hardly any issues, except it costs almost $20 to fill the gas tank. but I filled it up about 2 months ago and it still has half a tank. I try to get it out every two weeks or so and exercise it. On Christmas break me and zsmachines are probably going on a big romp and I plan on taking this. Zsmachines took it on some skidder trails where it had just been logged and it did amazing.
