Does anyone have any tricks for removing the bearing on the input shaft of a peerless 820. It went out and locked the rear end up. I got the seal out on the inside already but the bearing ain't budging. The way it looks is it slides out the inside.

If you laid it on a flat surface, you could probably pound it out with a bearing race + seal driver, or a socket that is about the same or slightly smaller in diameter than the bearing.

I got it eventually. Used a socket and a lot of pounding and pb. Times like this a hydraulic press sure would be nice.

Where is the best place to get input shaft bearings. I have one that locked up also because of it. Also has anyone changed from needle bearing to ball bearing. Wondering if they would hold up better. Thanks.
