LOL, you would think the acetone in it would keep it from freezing unless it got really cold!

Heres a sad shape 20hp I think Im gona try to revive... poor neglected thing...

Its sat for a while with no heads...

Oh look at this!

The sump was also off for a while, some rust inside, but not on any bearing surfaces, oil residue seems to have protected them well enough.

There's something to be said for a guy that can have a build thread get to 12 pages without having a romp worthy machine...yet. This supports my argument that beal needs is own section in the forum named "beal street"

I assume if there’s no difference in displacement, it’s the size of the carb bore. The 16 horse carb would have snappier throttle response, but the 18 horse carb would have more top end power

The difference between the HP's I have read was the stroke not the bore.

I'm pretty sure there is a displacement difference actually. I believe the 18hp opposed is a 42 cubic inch model, where as the 16hp is on a 40 cubic inch. Like mighty said though I'm pretty sure the displacement difference came from the stroke. Also how did you get those little knicks in the rod bearing? Haha.
