Good evening all,

Having joined the forum and reading a lot of posts and searching the forum I would just like a bit of help, sooner than I thought.

I have a 2001 Castel gardens JR92 fitted with a briggs 12.5hp ic engine. I have removed the rear axle/diff, found the thread to the Tecumseh/peerless technicians handbook and I think I has an mst200 tranmission.

1. from the linked photos below have I made a correct assumption?
2. If I have what is the best way to lock the diff on this transmission? (I have looked at the different options on the forum but would still like some ones advice to which could be the best)

mst200 transmission I think!!! 2429134702 Apologies!! I couldn't work out how to put photos on the post directly so I've tried via Google drive. If you can't see them let me know. Couldn't even do it directly from my phone that I took the photos with.

I now have a headache, beer o'clock.

I cant view the pictures that you posted. Here's a guide to posting them with Servimg;

I'm not sure that Peerless ever made a 200, but I could be wrong though

the link was great but wasn't quite the same and I still couldn't do it, so I posted 1 photo of the axle. the rest were just for fun.

Superb. Thanks for the reply. I am looking at either locking the diff like doc locker 2.0 or zinc locking. Then again I may try lead instead of zinc, as I've got some and if it doesn't work I can melt it back down to release the diff and then try something different. Will post photos or should I say try with the results.
