 My 1989 AYP Craftsman LT12

Just felt like showing off my 1989 Craftsman LT12. I bought it about 3 years ago for $30. It originally had a 12hp OHV Tecumseh, but I replaced that with a 12hp flathead Briggs & Stratton. I then replaced that engine with a 14hp Vanguard twin. Its current engine is an 18hp opposed twin, as shown in all but 1 of these pictures.








This is one of the most fun things i've done with this thing. I drove it in the woods behind my house after about 3 days of constant rain. (sorry about the bad camera angle and vertical orientation)

Nice! Looks pretty deep in that last picture! Does the old hood not fit over top of the the oppy?

Yeah, the hood wouldnt fit, although I may modify it to fit sometime. It shouldnt be that hard to do.

Nice! I like the mean look with large front tires, opposed twin and no hood.
