meet twisted metal my first off-road lawn tractor build. twisted metal has a 18 HP Briggs & Striation opposed twin and king Tires.

Nice! I like the steel pan seat in the first pictures. What kinda transaxle are you running? Kinda looks like a Peerless but it's hard to tell haha

I helped you a bit with your post above. You're getting there! I'll update the inserting images page. I have a newer (hopefully easier) howto for that.

the reason i named the tractor twisted metal is because it was put together with parts from just about everything. here are some pictures from my build including parts tractor for the motor, old and new tires, new front lights.. etc

the next step is to work on the wiring because when the deck engagement lever gets pushed up it shuts off the tractor.  also the engine isn't charging the battery, the headlights are not working and need to be rewired.
