I didn't make him happy with the rear suspension???????? I would really like to have front end but for now I just want to get it running

Well I better not tell him I'm not using suspension at all on the snapper lol.

@biggasmowersConsidering the amount of time until the builld off deadline and the fact that you've made great progress on this build so far I would take my time if I were you and build a front fork with suspension since time is on your side. Then you have to build the front end only once instead of twice.

I'm not gonna ban anyone, I was just asking is all. Jeeez, haha.

Washed it up , nice to get the tranny grease and junk off. Along with a bunch of the mud that was tracking all over my garage floor

I without question was not abusing my powers. If I was I would be doing it all the time just to bother people, which I would never do.

Might go pull parts today. More shocks, hopefully sprockets and idler.

Got a nice shiny new idler today!!!! Where would it be best to mount it ? So the flexing of the suspension gives it good movement .

Seems like as close to the primary sprocket as possible. Or make it spring loaded, that seems like the best solution.

Yeah it's going to be spring loaded.

Well for starters not on the top chain because that one is under tension.

Whoa, this thing looks friggin cool. And yeah tensioner would be best on the bottom side of the chain, the slack side. Looks nice so far though. As usual I'm way behind with checking out the threads.

yeah a spring loaded one on the bottom somewhere that can have space to move for when the rear end moves.

Looking good, I'm digging the set up so far
