Noma All Wheel Steer Traptor.

Ive had this Noma for awhile now, the steering gear is stripped so i never wanted to mess with it, but i got bored and started tinkering.
Pushed it in the garage (not as easy task with flats and no steering lol) I first got the engine running which actually fired right up. Checked oil, dumped gas down the carb, jumped the starter, she cranked over and fired up. After i got it running, i pulled the deck, took the steering gear out and stopped there for the night. Oh and it had no hood so i dropped a sabre hood on, it still needs mounted but it looks and fits nicely.

Looks like it has a Kohler too. Cool. I usually slather grease on steering gears like that whenever I perform preventative maintenance on a tractor. This is why.

That’s the exact same base mine started as. Only difference is color and engine. Whatcha got planned for it?

Yep, i bought it with the steering broke, i couldnt pass up the deal especially since it was only the 2nd AWS ive seen in my area. now that i got one theres a lot more popping up with working steering and vangaurds, now i wish i waited.

Tires, foot throttle, slight pulley swap, keep it simple and fun, high speed aws donuts seem fun lol

Little update, i tried fixing the steering gear. No luck lol, i f-ed up and made it worse. I found someone who thinks they have one in a parts bin, if its the same as mine i can get one off him for cheap. I messed up so badly i dont even feel like showing a pic its so bad lol but heres a little stance for you guys lol. I reversed the wheels so they stick out and its wide as hell lol. It wont be staying like that, i dont know if it would cause to much stress and i dont feel like breaking the transaxle.

The knuckles on that all wheel steer do look like they're built pretty well but I think that's a little too much stress on it. It is a cool stance though.

That is quite wide, would probably break the case before it broke the steering knuckles. AWS's are cool, I've always wanted one.

Odd duck mst206 AWS, never seen one until I bought this one. Like I said I just put them on for a bit for some pics, they'll be going back to normal before I actually drive it. When I get some mud tires I'm just going a little bigger and not to aggressive, really don't wanna break anything lol. But I did find all the grease zerts and greased up the rear end and steering.

Huh, that's strange. Msts are better anyway.

@Double W Cross Ranch Yep, it looks stout, idk if you can but if you can zoom in on the pic with the rear end and you can see that the steering shaft for the rear steer is actually going through the case, pretty neat not sure if the other AWS are like that.

They are. The pivot always goes through the case

Sweet, wasnt to sure. ive never dealt with any or really watched any builds with an aws trans.
