On top the hood or out past the front tires? One guy had a metal milk crate on the front of his tractor, above the bumper. Most opt for one on the back.

Heres a rack that would be nice for in front of the grille doubling as a brush gaurd. Thats a peace of 2x6 under it for scale. Dont know what its off of. There's another pic of a atv brush guard/rack support that would work nice on a tractor in the same fastion.
Myself I built an exo-cage over my hood to double as a hood rack.
