Mud Cheif 500

Im buliding my frst real offroad lawn tractor right now out of a lawn cheif 500. Ive had a few offroaders in the past but they were really just stock lawn tractor with bigger tires. My new tractor has 20 inch tires on the front and 21's on the back until i upgrade to 22 inch bear claws. I have already moved all of my wiring up into the dash far out of the water and removed all of the mower deck parts. I am currently working on the transaxle and getting it ready to be locked and maybe run oil instead of grease. I still have alot of work to do but im moving along. I will try to get some pics up tomorrow an maybe some videos if youtube will work.

Maybe I will have a video or some pics tomorrow. Right now theres not much to take pictures of (just a bunch of parts on the floor and transaxle parts every where. Hopefully I will have the trans axle locked and spindles extended by tomorrow no gurantes.

In case you guys havent already noticed this project has sort of been put on hold. Its something i want to do but just dont have time right now. Ive been working on another tractor an MTD yard machine. I will be starting a tread on that.
