Does any one know how to make 4 bolt hubs for 1 inch axle?

does any one know how to make 4 bolt hubs for 1 inch axle or do you know anywhere to get them for cheaper that 19.99 a piece? thanks, sean

Cant be hard to make. All you;d need a some 1" ID tube wit a key way. Then a fairly thick circle of metal, with 4 bolt holes, and on the in the centre for the tubing to go through. Getting it centred is the tricky part though!

Alternitvly, Im sure a metal shop/blacksmiths would be able to make you one for about $20. Arild got some made for 'Torque', his mudding machine

Shouldnt be too hard - like Chunk suggested - flat piece of 3/8 - 1/4" steel , some wheel studs, piece of thick wall black pipe , might be easier to cut a strip out of the pipe to put a steel keyway to weld in. Finding center wouldnt be too hard - draw some straight lines across the hub, center the pipe and draw a circle around it, use a metal hole saw a lil bit smaller for a tight fit.

I bot a couple 5 bolt hubs for 1" ( fit most atv/golf kart wheels) - the rear ones were $35 each - the front tapered bering hubs were $45 each.

i got mine made for TORQUE. i just found old lil lawn tractor hubs and used the pipe with the key way ( cause i couldnt find any keyd pipe) and made some plates for the tires and got them welded on. il do a vid on it soon. Olny costed me 20 bucks
