This is my latest project it used to be a John Deere l120 but now its a Mud mower.Its got a B&S 20hp v-twin With a hydro

Foot pegs, Cut turf tires

Nice mower, I like the front bumper. it suits the chassis

Ditch the hydro trans - those are for mowing only - no good for offroading.

Ya thats futrue plans dont have the cash right now.

The most important thing you can do until you upgrade the transaxle is make sure it stays clean & the fan is in good shape. Your K46 is known for heat-related problems, but most of those issues stem from grass & debris building up on top of the transaxle, effecting air flow/cooling.

Hydro systems need to be clean and air free internally, clean and free air externally.

An aftermarket cooler/filter can be added if you have external ports/hoses.

It normally does great aslong as it an't coverd with dirt or anything.

Now making some progress,got the battery in and all wirred up,the engine cover on,and also a got a sterring wheel.Tell me what ya think,if u have any ideas pleas share.

Got alittle bit done today i got the head gasket fixed and the valve cover gaskets replaced and hoping it seals.

Todays progress: Got a leakeg setup done so now it can be driven.
It now has a hand shifter.

Be careful about your battery rubbing on the welds/ metal. I had that issue with my battery when I had to move it on my Gen1 racer. You wont want acid all over the place!

Ok thanks,i will watch the battery for rubbing.

If you see it rubbing, just strap it down tighter and/ or get some foam/ rubber to create some insulation.

Ok ill do that.

Heres what i got so far it a steering stifiner.
I cut it at a 45* angle and then welded it.

Got the steering shaft stifner done.
Almost ready for a test drive just need to weld on the steering wheel,and make a throttal.

Looks like you are making progress! Steering support looks like it will do the job.
