| What's a posi set up? The rear axle is solid but front will be left open to help with steering.
The central diff will help with tyre scrubbing.
The steering was a lucky eBay find, they were listed as small tractor PTO
Hoping to get the sprockets on this weekend.
Then make the Ragb for engine

Posi or Posi-traction, General motors term for limited slip differential. Dragracers on a budget using 9" ford diffs, would put stiff springs between the spider gears to create a limited slip. Yamaha Big Bear ATV use 2 small clutch discs

| Got a few updates on the UTV build. Got the steering sorted and sourced a peerless 5 speed gearbox. I have decided to use my 11hp b and s vertical shaft engine with the peerless gearbox as I cannot afford the torque converter and horizontal engine. This is the jackshaft that will split the power to the front and back axle. I am ordering the chain and sprockets so should have some progress on the drivetrain this week. | |

| I should be mounting the engine this weekend, then I can sort out the clutch and gearbox location. Then sort the chains and sprockets out. | |
