| Then it probably needs serviced I've done this before and the fluid smelled burnt and it wasn't shifting right I did it and it fixes it so it may work I'd try it before spending $$$$$ on a rebuild | |

| Really sounds to me by the Rpms that your not getting out of second and it's probably blown unless its the filter and fluid | |

| Had a 98 chevy van the throttle position sensor went out it stayed in second gear would not go on up in to drive or over drive. And I had a 97 Buick that would not go into over drive that was speed sensor. | |

| Soooo. We changed the trans oil and filter. It didnt help. It wont start moving till the revs get to 4000 and then it barely moves so the trans is completely Shot. Were getting a 91 honda accord from my uncle. | |
