| Well, i finally got my grimy hands on a v twin finally. I want to fire it up within the week but id like to re wire it too. i have all the wiring besides the two wires for the seat (cut) and headlights i believe. Do i wire it like my offroader, and get the kill wire to come off the key switch directly to the coils, and cut both positive and negative wires that go to the key switch for the safety switches and just run the one wire to the solenoid? I want to run the stock key switch, keep the volt meter, and maybe run headlights and have the battery charging. Thanks!! | |

| I'll second that. Cutting and pasting wiring tends to end up a rat's nest, unreliable, and confusing. Grab a couple spools of wire and have at it! | |
