| I traded my mtd grass cutter for this thing, it started as a rattler gokart, but someone along the line stretched it, rebuilt the back to fit a suzuki 500cc gsx motor, so its basically a shifter kart , but safer has a rollcage. I need to get the carbs rebuilt, a shifter linkage made, find a gas tank like 4 gallon or so. Get the stuff bolted down, un getto it, battery, fix alignment, and should be able to drive it. Fix the brakes, and clutch also. | |

| The front tires DO look questionable. But I'm more concerned about the rest of it. Yard/fun karts are NOT known for particularly well-built frames, nor components that can tolerate a lot of abuse or power. That's the basics- THEN you got a questionable chassis that has been severely structurally altered by somebody that maybe welds like a drunken monkey, and dropped a stoopid amount of torque in it.
Just be vigilant, is all.

The welds on the roll cage are pretty bad in spots, but the chassis looks good(I think there was to people building this, one built the cage other did chassis, guy that did the chassis welds better, LOL). I have been tseting it, it seems pretty strong, I will be putting another pillow block or 2 bearings on the the axle. Ill be making it like a truck, clutch on left, brake in the middle, gas on the the right. heres some more stuff I got done, pulled the engine, I think it may need a clutch..... Look at the wiring mess some one did... should I put a box on it?

im not sure, but even after taking the motor off, the frame still weights about 100lbs easy, w/o tires on

| Saw the bent axle coming, just didn't expect it'd be bent already.
New axle- Note: If axle ends don't match old ones, your hubs may not fit. $. Also keep an eye on existing bearing, rotor, and sprocket bore sizes/type. Again, a mismatch=$.
I'd put a support bearing in the approximate middle of the axle, too. The axle you linked to, should do the trick.
