| I used to be a hayhauler, not anymore, now it's just a name for use on tractor forums.
I have not yet begun to build an All-Terrain lawn tractor, but I've wanted to for a while. I have a Murray garden tractor, with a B&S 18 HP twin that I'd like to make over into something along the lines of a UTV. I'd like it to seat two and have a utility bed. I'd have to widen it, lengthen it, make it go a little faster. I still want to be able to pull with it. It's low gear will just about pull a stump out of the ground now, so I think I could gain a little speed and not give up the ability to pull a little harrow or yard rake.
I live in North Alabama, on a 75 acre hay farm. I'm not a tool slinger, but I'm not afraid to try. | |

| Howdy! I'm relatively new here too, but I'm building a mower along the lines of what you are doing.... just with a lot more sheetmetal work. I'm gonna try to make mine look like Fred Sandfords old 41 ford. The main Job of The Red Fox is gonna be what you describe... a UTV for farm use. Widen, lengthen, and add a bed are all in the project build's future Welcome to the forum! _______________________________________________ I can do anything I set my mind to... the impossible just takes me a little longer Tech Manual mod, If ya need it, and cant find it... Just ask.... Pm if I'm not on line | |

| Thanks for all the words of welcome. I'm just starting to think about my project, but when I saw this site I wanted to join because it seems as though I'll get a lot of ideas here. | |

| Oh yeah- no question there. You'll get good ideas, bad ideas... Maybe even a few that have absolutely nothing to do with your project, you, or even tractors... | |
