Are you talking a 2-bbl carb, or two 1-bbl carbs? A bit more detail might be helpful. What are you getting at? It is quite possible to overcarb an engine...

I could see it on a vtwin or opposed not sure I could see it on a 12 youd just end up stuffing more fuel than it can burn

I'd do duals on an oppy... The V twin would be awesome with a progressive 2 Barrel

I was thinking 2 single barrells off of honda clones, linked onto a manifold I've made and yeah... the manifold is a 3/4 bore progressing to a 7/8 bore, all onto a 12Hp single, flat head

I'm honestly not sure I see the point. Go ahead and try, might work out. If it were up to me, I'd sooner slap a Mikuni on there, and greatly improve throttle response and tuneability.
