Murray select mud/racing mower resurrection

Alright so finally today I got it running and driving!
I ditched the oppy plan cause it kept messing up, so I built a 14.5 out of spare parts laying around, and it runs and drives! I swapped the bigger head on it that is ported and polished.

Cool build, looks like my craftsman with big turfs front an back.

Yeah them are just for now tho

Last Saturday I took it out for a long ride haulin' ozzy'screations on a trailer, did pretty good, it rears up the mud even with the turfs and the dead weight behind it, goes about 15 for now and stopped running again like 2 miles from my house. Changed the carb and it still won't run, I can get it to start for about 30 seconds and then it shuts off, I'm thinking that it's valves? Any ideas?

You said you built the motor from parts could it be the coil

It was the spark plug!!!!   
Had some fun on the circle track Ozzy's creations got stuck as you can see

That is a nice circle track, except from the hole that Ozzy left there. LOL  Nice mower too!
