| Hey everyone, my name's Joe, I'm from northern CT, never gone for an offroad build before due to $$$ and being a little young but its about time to get workin'. Just picked up this 90s Craftsman 12 Hp for $50 from a friend. Runs good and starts right up but it surges slightly when running. Also have 3 more riders, a Yard machines 18 or 16hp 42" pretty complete with bent valve, pushrod, and broken rockers but the rest is good. Freebie!! And 2 toro rear engine riders, one ran but had major issues leaking oil so I ran it til it blew a hole in block, and other was used for parts to get that one running since most were interchangeable. I got these all free as I do scrap metal recycling as a job and always keep the tractors if they are decent. I go to school full time so most work is during my days off and weekends. Not going for anything crazy, just a little toy to go through the woods and mud with. The beasts Already sold some engine parts off this to help fund the Craftsman | |

| Thanks for the link redline! I love reading all these threads and I just wish I had more daylight and free time to work on it and do all these things I have seen done on here.
And Craftsman1998, definitely can't beat it, at least around here, for a running one. It needed a battery and key but I had the batt. from one toro rear engine and the key from it too. | |
