Im looking to use a set of 33 inch tires on stock lawn tractor locked tranny . Dont ask why it really simple I want to reuse 2 to worn for my trucks and regrove them but I dont want to kill my tranny

it won't last long if you ride off road or go faster then stock. If you just drive it in parades and stuff like that then it should work, but otherwise I would get a stack of spare transaxles and install them with wing nuts so you can swap them out on the trail quickly, if you are using a 3/4" axle trans. If they are 1" shafts it should last longer.

it look to answer good . anyone try to get a cromoly axle made to do something like that ??? Just ask!!

If you put a solid axle all the way thru then it would defentately help, because with big tires it would put a lot of stress on the trans housing. if there was something solid all the way thru it would help a lot.
