| What's about just swapping in one of your thousand Oppys? the one that runs good with the adjustable carb. Or another one. Or if you have some $ get a Vanguard Twin like mine |

| Swapping in another oppy would involve swapping in all the other little nuances i have on this oppy and that's just not happening
That anchor idea isnt bad, i could use it as a mace too |

| Heads are off Left Right Right and left Left one has a few blowouts, right seems ok. All the head bolts seemed to be at a proper torque. I cleaned the carbon off of everything. I'm gonna order some head gaskets here directly and hopefully they'll get here soon lol. Intake didn't show any problems either. |

| Last i knew it was about 90. These engines are set up with the compression release as part of the intake lobes so it always kinda reads there. |

| Can you turn the valves just by pressing your thumb on the valve and trying to turn it? |

| With them seated? I went to switch the starter again but the one i was switching it with turned out to be dry and noisy too, so i took this starter all apart and greased it and put it back together. I'll put it back on tomorrow |
