| Someone put the con rod in backwards? Yikes, with those engines the rod could seize to the crank if you do that.
Looks like a pretty neat tractor though, not sure how many pullers use the hydrostatic transaxle but it might be okay. | I would fix it up and use it as a workhorse tractor. I've heard these hydros are pretty quick. | |

Yeah they are great work tractors my 1811 is faster than my other tractor with a pulley swap. Just the hydros use allot of power from the engine to run & that is why people don't really pull with them. A cub 1211 is like a 1988... | |

| Kohlers seem to break their con rods frequently even when they are in right, I've had one, and seen about 4 others.
Nice build, those old hydros are tough I've heard. | |
