We can hope. Man, talk about some rough goings! I pray that things get better from here and all turns out well.

i appreciate the thought @MightyRaze the good news is greg called and said he should be flying in around 9pm friday night, so i'll make the 4hr drive home saturday and see for myself how bad things are, like i said my brother is a bit of an exaggerator, and always sees things worse than they are, hopefully this is another case of that habit rearing it's head

my brother was telling me he got an old single seat go-cart from a friend of ours, the rear of it's frame is rotted but from midway forward it's all good, how feasible would it be to mount the go cart front end, the whole unit frame and all. under either my 2000 murray or the older wizard we have, he said the steering and 5/8 spindles are all in good shape, the plan is to build a speed mower out of one of them if the idea will work like i think it will,

The go kart front end would be a bit light for a mower. There's a reason they don't make many mowers with 5/8" spindles.

this is why we ask, get the opinions of other members, i wasn't sure if they might be strong enough since this would be on a street mower not an off road mower, and most the weight would be on the rear anyway, i could change out the spindles for some 3/4in spindles, they're fairly cheap on ebay, if i was more confident in my welding skill i'd just cut off the spindles and weld on some 3/4 grade 8 bolts, i'm not even sure if my little stick welder could do the job well enough to be safe if i was a good enough welder

well i got home on the 25th, and while the house isn't as bad as my brother thought, it's still not good, and the former roommate retaliated for being kicked out, first he stole my camera while i was gone then he contacted our internet provider and cancelled our service, it took us weeks to get things straightened out and finally get our service back today, we put a pass phrase on our service so nothing like that can happen again,
all i've done since i got home was work on other peoples junk, although i did get a couple rides in, still need to get some tires for the 12in wheels on the 820 before i put it on the murray, and rusty is still buried in the back of the garage so getting to the 820 will be a chore, reverse seems to be having trouble on the 205 under the murray i think it's a linkage issue as it sometimes engages and sometimes it doesn't and every other gear works perfectly

We had a guy renting our office in Brandon, using it as a florist shop. It's kind of our fault because we were warned by the previous renter that he doesn't pay, and if it's not on time, your lucky. Anyway, we finally evicted him and the agreement was he had to leave the building the way it was when he moved in. Yeah he keeps his agreements very well. RUINED the place. The walls were all busted out, light switches were turned into 4 socket outlets, LIVE wires and fire hazards everywhere, Trash all outside, the fireplace was even falling apart. Not to mention the spiders, cock roaches, drywall dust, and all the problems we had in the past with him. And the worst part, we couldn't sue him for some reason. We got taken on that one. All I can say is if your warned, DO NOT TRUST the client. Some people are so careless.

with the exception of the bed bugs it's all easily cleaned up, i don't know what he was doing but there's pieces of electronics all over the place, broken circuit boards and crap like that dumped ash trays and he took a bench seat out that was built into the wall, haved no clue where that went, but we've sealed up the 3 rooms upstairs for now, i read if you keep them sealed the bed bugs will die after about 6 weeks but to be sure they need to be sealed for a yr because of the eggs, we have no problem with that,

i picked up some new shoes for the murray for when i mount the 820, i think these should do the job nicely

sorry to hear that it's no wonder landlords demand references these days, people just don't care about other peoples property anymore, i hate to say it but that's what modern society has become, or a good portion of it anyway.

i thought so when i saw them, i plan to leave the 820 unlocked for now, and since these are only about an inch taller than the knobbies on it now i shouldn't need to do much to fit them, that is if they are true to spec, i thought about putting them on the suburban, but have decided to keep the stock tires on it for now, it's also not running right, i think it sat to long and needs the carb cleaned and maybe the points as well, it's back firing and i have to run it on partial choke, hopefully i can get back on rusty soon and get it running and driving again

just spent several hrs getting the 820 out of rusty, what would normally be a 20minute job turned into a couple hrs due to the fact it was, and still is buried in the back of the garage, i'm hoping to have my new tires monday, the tracking number says they are only 30 miles from here in MT. Vernon, IL.

well i'm a little unhappy with my new tires, they are not the same tires as in the pic, which was why i ordered these tires, i liked that closer together monster truck style v tread pattern, the ones i got are a wider farm tractor style v tread, and i checked thye model number , it is the same on the tires as on the ebay add, oh well they should still work good, just not have the look i really wanted

@RockeyDA when my new camera comes in i'll get some, i couldn't find any of the nikons like the one you have and gave me the link to, none for very cheap anyway, so i got a brand new camera with a water proof case, it only cost me about $5 more, i figured the waterproof case might come in handy with all the rain we been getting here and how wet the trails are, i think the 820 is geared higher than the mst was, it's faster now with the 820 and the tires are only a little bigger than what i had on it, 23s vs 22s and i'm running the same 6 on 6 pulley setup as before, we'll see how it does in the mud before i decide to lock it, no matter what it will stay as is for the time being

if i cover the mic it makes the audio un-useable, a proper seals case would seal around mic still exposing mic to the elements. as the mic on the inside of the camera has a rubble seal to stop it rattling in the camra it self.

not on this one, i put the 820 of that one under this one, this is my everyday mud mower a 99 murray widebody, as for the one i actually started this thread on, i call it rusty, i have to get it unburied from the back of the garage, blow it apart and get the bed properly aligned and mount the mst205 i plan to put back on it, it's changed forms so many times now from a simple frame swap to being extended to the more rat rod style it is now, but i plan to get it finished this summer
