2022 Build-Off

Just wanted to announce that we DO PLAN on having a 2022 Build-Off! After some deliberation with @Doug, we have decided to continue with the same rules with minor tweaks. I do have a question for you!

Shall we start Jan 1 or Feb 1 like we have? 10 or 11 months running to Midnight Nov 30.

I like the idea of an extra month. Might give more people time to finish, and for those that would finish anyway, possibly more time for the details. We may end up with more “complete” finished products. Just my 2c

Same, more time means people can be more methodical and produce a more polished build, or in my case, probably a more polished turd.

On the flip side of that though, entrants may think “oh I’ve got time” for that extra month and will still rush it at the end

I vote extra month

I say January also because if I do a build (big if) I don’t have to wait as long. Excited to see what will be entered!

Its pretty unanimous so far.  Look for the entry info Jan 1!
