also got busy working on my shifter. i'm using the handle that was for the blade engaugement as my shifter. i had to cut down the shift selector shaft and drill and tap it then free hand cut it to a square. and make a new arm and rod to connect it. worked out good !* [22 BO] diddie's Salvage - Page 4 Bo2810

sure is and i welded some expanded metal about a third of the way up to hold my wood off the ground and drilled about 8  3/4 inch holes around to help get air flow. Works out Great !

i agree it's hard to remember who did what to what kind of tractor when you'er also doing your own builds and going between different categories. and what not. i wish i had more time to go through some of this stuff on here. but never seem to have enough time in the day !!

I've been on a bit of a break from the build last couple weeks. That time of year to get some Mowers up for sale. and spring things to do. But i did get my hands on a snow blower that i was needing the engine off of. so i had the tires as a bonus, but unfortunatley they were to skinny for my rims. i figured i'd try them anyway but as you can see in the photos they just don't look right
* [22 BO] diddie's Salvage - Page 4 Img_2067
* [22 BO] diddie's Salvage - Page 4 Img_2066
So i couldn't wait around so i got on Ebay and found some just like them but wider for 80 bucks, so i ordered them up and to my surprise had them in 2 days. considering i was wanting to attempt to build this with used parts and very little money i'm not doing very well! lol.
* [22 BO] diddie's Salvage - Page 4 Img_2068
* [22 BO] diddie's Salvage - Page 4 Img_2069
i was able to get one rim cleaned up and painted tonight. had to resist the temptation of putting the tire on before it cures properly.

Sorry i don't have any pics at the moment. but i got my other front tire mounted and where the first one was some what flat across the tread the second on is rounded ! I know for its intended purpose that shouldn't matter. But i'm a bit ocd when it comes to stuff like that. so iv'e stepped back for a min to figure out what i'm gonna do ? either order 1 and pay to much for it by only ordering one and find out which style i get, or order two more and maybe get two more oppisits (which would leave me with two matching sets ) or two that are the same and that would Still leave me with two mismatched and twice as much money spent !! WHAT TO DO WHAT TO DO !

I'm assuming by "Liquid Filled" you mean that you won't be popping any wheelies with this rig? Sad

@TechnoChicken Well i like to climb hills with it less likely to come over on top of me ! popping wheelies is fun but considering i'm going on 55 years old and have degenerative disc disease in my lower spine mowers coming over on top of me isn't as much fun as it used to be lol !

It's been a busy couple weeks for me with the weather turning nice and all (to many irons in the fire) but got around to working on my winch mount and bumper set up.
* [22 BO] diddie's Salvage - Page 4 Img_2076
here's some preliminary fitment, not exactly where everything needs to be. but a rough idea. the bumper needs to be up a bit higher or i have a couple other bumpers around that i will play around with and see what works best.
* [22 BO] diddie's Salvage - Page 4 Img_2078
* [22 BO] diddie's Salvage - Page 4 Img_2077
once i get this ironed out it will be time to tackle a rear rack and then i think i'll be able to break it down and get the body work and paint done ! then once i get it reassembled i can start my wiring, which is my favorite part !
you can notice in the second pic the right tire is more rounded then the left as i mentioned in a previous post. and the right only has about 8 psi and the left has 16 psi. still not happy with that situation.

Maybe try using those as trailer tires or the like and just get a new set? That's just my .02

It's like one is a true 6.50 and the other is actually a 6.0 but labeled 6.50.

The tire thing is odd but the bumper/winch plate looks like it will work out well!

@Rustbucket Garage you're spot on ! that's what i was thinking. possibly a matching trailer for this build with matching paint job.

I finally got some time to work on the winch and bumper set up and got it to where i'm happy with it.

once i got to this point i realized i would have to push the winch out a bit further than i thought to clear the hood when opening and closing. but that's where the bumper comes in handy too support the other bolt mount. than i incorporated the fairlead into the bumper.

you can't see it in the pic but there is a bracket welded to the bottom of the bumper that bolts to the winch.
