Is that a heavy equipment wheel fire pit? I have always wanted to do that. Neat!

Got a bit of work done on the transaxle lowered it 2 inches and back 1 inch welded in some square tube to mount the brackets to. also got busy working on my shifter. i'm using the handle that was for the blade engaugement as my shifter. i had to cut down the shift selector shaft and drill and tap it then free hand cut it to a square. and make a new arm and rod to connect it. worked out good !

sure is and i welded some expanded metal about a third of the way up to hold my wood off the ground and drilled about 8 3/4 inch holes around to help get air flow. Works out Great !

Sorry, sometimes I get confused between threads, or get behind without realizing it, thanks a lot though
i agree it's hard to remember who did what to what kind of tractor when you'er also doing your own builds and going between different categories. and what not. i wish i had more time to go through some of this stuff on here. but never seem to have enough time in the day !!

I've been on a bit of a break from the build last couple weeks. That time of year to get some Mowers up for sale. and spring things to do. But i did get my hands on a snow blower that i was needing the engine off of. so i had the tires as a bonus, but unfortunatley they were to skinny for my rims. i figured i'd try them anyway but as you can see in the photos they just don't look right So i couldn't wait around so i got on Ebay and found some just like them but wider for 80 bucks, so i ordered them up and to my surprise had them in 2 days. considering i was wanting to attempt to build this with used parts and very little money i'm not doing very well! lol. i was able to get one rim cleaned up and painted tonight. had to resist the temptation of putting the tire on before it cures properly.

Well i got the tire mounted on the rim with very little damage to the paint. and iv'e got to say i'm happy with the fit. and the look. and the height is perfect to keep the stance i wanted. i was a bit worried they might be to tall. now i need to get the other one painted and mounted. then liquid fill them and check that off the list !

Sorry i don't have any pics at the moment. but i got my other front tire mounted and where the first one was some what flat across the tread the second on is rounded ! I know for its intended purpose that shouldn't matter. But i'm a bit ocd when it comes to stuff like that. so iv'e stepped back for a min to figure out what i'm gonna do ? either order 1 and pay to much for it by only ordering one and find out which style i get, or order two more and maybe get two more oppisits (which would leave me with two matching sets ) or two that are the same and that would Still leave me with two mismatched and twice as much money spent !! WHAT TO DO WHAT TO DO !

I'm assuming by "Liquid Filled" you mean that you won't be popping any wheelies with this rig?

@TechnoChicken Well i like to climb hills with it less likely to come over on top of me ! popping wheelies is fun but considering i'm going on 55 years old and have degenerative disc disease in my lower spine mowers coming over on top of me isn't as much fun as it used to be lol !
