You mentioned that running it at high RPM with the Gov. gear still in might cause trouble, what would that do?

It will explode the gear in the engine taking out other stuff with it.

The governed rpm dropped a little when you removed the filter which is interesting. How's about a intake tube test between the carb housing and filter, it would straiten the airflow before it hits the carb

That is not a bad idea. Will hit the plumbing store tomorrow to see what I can make for a getto adapter. Mount the Kawasaki filter right on the end of the carb.

The longer the better (within reason of course), a 1 foot piece should work well. It should increase low end torque and make low to high speed transition smoother but hopefully doesn't mess with the flames shooting out of the exhaust that was awesome! Â Lol
*edit* diameter matters, about the same size as carb/filter will produce the best all around results.

The choice was made to make the engine bay fit 22 inches when done. A bit weird when in the past I quoted a Duramax engine size of 19 inch. But if in the future the possibility of scaring myself needs to be increased. I now have room to fit a Kohler or briggs twin up to 27hp.

I watch the videos on youtube so I can ‘like’ them. This beast is looking good.
First sock tailed cat I have seen.

This was a moment in the build I needed. Tons more to do. But finding out the transaxle works was a much needed moment.

That is a serious tie rod.
I'll need to make something very strong like that tie rod but i will also try a radically different steering system just to see if it will work.

I will second that, I always find steering to be the most daunting part of a project, how does the direct steering work out for control? I'm thinking of doing a similar setup on my mower too...

I’d set up a vertical stack and then put diamond plate in place of the headlights.
Also: that tractor would look AMAZING in metallic grey
Subject: Re: [22 BO] RCG Sear Racing April 17th 2022, 6:56 pm
@Rustbucket Garage I agree I think that the diamond plate would look pretty minty I actually had electric outlet covers in place of my headlights on my suburban.
