Oh you're just saying that because you have one! Lol. Just playing with you, I have heard lots of good things about them and this one is full pressure lubed with a Mikuni fuel pump which is awesome!
I'm just going to start a thread on the tractor later but in the mean time, does anyone have any knowledge/experience/opinions on Aisan carbs? Until now I don't think I've ever actually seen or owned one but I'm impressed with the design and build quality.

Unfortunately they have long been relegated to the collector and diy'ers. Iam talking from a mechanics perspective. Personally i like flatheads but I've never seen one in the shop.
That being said I often say that Briggs makes an excellent engine once in a while but Kawasaki makes a good engine all the time

Can't argue with you, I agree the Kawis are good engines I just hate the amount of electronics on every one I've seen. I'm adept at electrical but it's usually time consuming and costly to repair in my experiences, one reason all my toys and even my vehicles are all pre-millenium, less to go wrong!

So here's a nice wiring job by the guy next door. Gator 815 diesel about 1.5 year old. Customer had previously had disagreements on payments so resorted to an electrician to fix it. Iam not to the person to disclose any details I just fix stuff but I made some extra insurance vids for myself.
Iam assuming that he just wanted to bypass the control unit inside the display but failed horribly and it kept eating shut-off solenoids and fuses.
Going to take about a day of work and a new display to get this sorted out

So, I have a 32hp Briggs vanguard engine kicking around I know iam still working on something but I've been thinking about future plans for a while.
Are zero turns allowed in the build-off? I know it hasn't been done before but if so iam really considering something. They are tubular frame

I asked @doug and I tend to agree with him. “Why not?”

Well I got 2 massive front forks that should fit a 20 inch tire and these ones come standard with suspension but don't know what way I want to go really.
Either a rig with 4 or 6 wheels with 30 or 32 inch tires or perhaps a tracked machine. I have the parts, just need to think wether I really want to and how.

Thanks for taking care of the BO thread Mighty. I hate it too but life just has a habit of getting in the way. Especially as you get older.
Also just thought I would remind you that the MMs original thread is still locked. I would appreciate it if you could unlock it when you get the chance. Thanks!

Totally not lawnmower related but I was pleasantly surprised with this garden hose nozzle from claber (Italian)
Certainly not the top of the range but today on Yom Kippur when every jew in the world decides to stay in bed it decided to stop working.
Usually I just buy a new one but I was forced to open it if I can Jerry rig something. Pleasant surprise but they are fully rebuild able and a few o rings later it works like new
Lovely thing in a throwaway society. 3 years of heavy use and ready for another 3

I planned on working on the snapper a bit but the little princess wanted a rabbit. I was planning on just buying a cage but the wife wanted me to build something cheap.
So being the lazy prick I decided to rummage around my neighbour's farm and found some shelving I repurposed

If you’re trying to find them I’d say make your own. Get a pair of old cruddy rims with flat sides and cut the outer rim off, grinding smooth. Then weld in some 1/2-20 or whatever size bolts and mount it up! I’ve also seen this done:
