Can we start talking about it now!? Lol.
It would be great to get a discussion going on here to generate some interest and find out how many people are thinking about signing up!
Some of you weren't able to complete your builds for 2022 but the good news is that our amazing gatekeepers @Doug and @MightyRaze have made it easier for 2023 by allowing up to 75% completness as per the ★☆ 2023 BUILD-OFF RULES ☆★ to help encourage you to finish up those great looking entries you had going, how awesome is that!
Parts and materials are much easier to get than last year which is a good thing, unfortunately the costs of them and living in general is on the rise which presents challenges but I've seen some pretty wild low buck builds around here so I know it's possible to build something awesome on a budget!
I for one am excited to use the Build Off as an excuse to take another non-functional tractor I've had kicking around and a pile of parts to make it into something I can enjoy!
Have a question? Ask me! Type in "@MightyRaze" in your post!

Might as well join and get another 3rd place LOL
But for real: The low buck racer build is in the works to start the 2nd or 3rd any way.
Lol. Hey man if you have fun building and ripping it then you win regardless of what place you finish in!
I have the perfect tractor to turn into a multi-purpose racer sitting out back which is exactly what I've been planning on doing with it so let's have some fun with this and find a way to have some virtual "for fun" races eh?! Could be a hoot!

I might be up for it. I plan to rebuild my tranny sooner rather than later but I’ll still need to fit the hood, put an exhaust in, set up a cooling fan for the transmission, change the tires around, make the front spindles, and some painting. Dunno if that’s 25% or not, let me know what y’all think!

Sounds to me like you've got enough work ahead of you to be in the clear @Rustbucket Garage so you've got my vote!

I plan to enter 2 myself. Zues will be the main build but im also going to be starting a more fx style yard toy for the little ones so might as well enter them both lol. Ive sold a couple mowers and gocarts i fixed up and started working on my tool stock to have a better workflow in the shop just for the build off. Im jot very competitive but it would sure be cool to make it to top 3! Good luck to everyone!

Maybe not this year, but I have some thoughts brewing that could bring back an old rig with a fresh idea. Jotting this down in hopes I may remember due to seeing this over and over. I need to figure out how I want to make some 5on4.5 front hubs.
But first, I need some parts to fall into place.
EDIT: Funny how an issue will slap you in the face when you write it out. Why not bigger 4 on 4 wheels instead of trying to redo hubs? Duh!
