So my other build got Cancelled due to an accident and I scrapped it BUT I saved some of the parts to build this one, it's an LT1000 but now it's basically a light GT, and for lack of a better name imma call it the GT1000. Kinda cheated a little but TRUST me there is a lot of work left to do on this rig. Here we are so far. Huge PIC DUMP!!!

I haven't explained anything I'm doing to it yet, But that single intek isn't staying, I wanna build a high rpm high compression flattie or a oppy haven't found an oppy but I have like five ol flatties and an welder to build a sick exhaust and a long intake runner but whatever i build is getting one of those Donaldson ztr air breather things modified for a snorkel where the current gas tank is and I wanna get the belt as slip resistant as possible so i can do some deep mudding with it. Also I do have a turbo... Or maybe 2 waiting on an oppy lol.

This oppy unfortunately isnt gonna be turboed it's goin to be a experiment to see how high I can rev one before total destruction, But as soon as I find a pressure lubed oppy with a filter I have everything to turbo one I'm going also build my turbo header with this motor and all the piping, but the biggest hurdle is where to put the turbo with the dynamark hood swap, the engine will have to be mounted backwards the way it sits now, but this parts mower has a good mst206 and a good 19.5 oppy but the rest of the tractor is trash.

WHAT! YOU CAN'T JUST BLOW UP A GOOD ENGINE LIKE THAT! That's reprehensible!

Like @RichieRichOverdrive says, they are pretty forgivable. Experience has showed me that when they get revved too high, the valve float will just bring it back down like fuel shutoff governed newer cars. That begins just over 5K. At least with the engines I have.

The ninety degree idea is a pretty neat idea, I picked up some more parts for free a whole side shaft oppy and craftsman gt it's pretty much scrap but I can salvage the parts to convert a free vertical oppy for another project. Anyway I don't wanna just blow up the engine I'm going to fine tune it and figure out how high it can revv and it's limits so I can setup my turbo engine properly, also with haspin so close I hope and can iron out this rig enough to take it. I'm going to badlands this weekend if anybody is going to be nearby.

Yes unfortunately the crank is cut and i found that out about the crank after tearing down two oppies oh well I'll just have to find a good pressure lube motor for the turbo, but I took some good pictures while I was in there.

Here is the belt system I simply flipped my clutch mechanism backwards and added a few pullies I'm using a 5inch front 5inch rear and the stock lt1000 belt and it actually works pretty good so far I haven't driven it yet, but this is how I have done my last 3 good rigs so it's sorta tested it's the "budget clutch". I have to make belt keepers and weld my front pully but belt system DONE!
And I've got a few mock up pics of the dash and hood, I do have to modify the hood quite a bit which is unfortunate, but this hood is bent all to hell and smashed it's also covered in moss.
I ran out of time yesterday and I'll update some more tommrow when I have a little wrenching time

Welded up my drive pully I also painted it but didn't get a pic of it painted, and I built a 2 into 1 exhaust don't judge too hard it's made of free materials and it's the first one I ever built thats 2 into one I also have some 4 lug hubs from a Husqvarna ztr they strip out and hydrogear sells an updated hub kit and I had to buy them for my free ztr I got, and they are just good enough to grease the hell out of them and use them as front hubs, I also have better front rims and tires then the ones in the pic but it still looks pretty cool.

So I got some more work done today on the rig. I ran a metal fuel line, installed the gas tank yesterday. And I wired it fully just have to heat shrink stuff and zip tie everything neatly, and I made a switch panel I kinda like it but really wanna make a better one I'm not quite in love with it. I drilled my hood pin holes in the hood, I will rivet some chrome washers or something on after the paint job, I'm getting really close to my first drive with this engine. All that's left is the gas and choke and finish my belt system then I can drive it
