honda atc 500r

i was lookin at the computer at 3 wheelers at school last week and i seen a honda atc 500r that honda made like only 5 of them and then the band of 3 wheelers came up so the destroyed 3 1 was used for parts and one some body in calafona has they were suppost to be 2 stroke(hinting the r in it like a 250r)and built biger then a 250r and i wonder if any one knows any thing bout them i also know the only one that honda made has know pictures of it on the computer any picture of one is just one some body made [b][img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img]

come on guys i know some of you have herd of one

i have.... but i heard they are really powerful nd screwy because of the power to weight ratio. IM to light so id never touch one let alone ride one

i dont think honda made that many. but i do know that people took cr500 engines and put them in a 3 wheeler

from what i heard honda never made it was origanally just a kit you could buy for your 250r where you honed out the cylender abd got a bigger carb. it was supposed to be called the 350r but people started calling it the 500r. now this is just what ive heard over the years your guys stories could be just as right

This is my theory I could be wrong.
We flat tracked for a couple of years and never heared of one (but then again nobody raced 3-wheelers there) but even in the four wheeler theory honda didn't have a factory 500r (that I know of). If they had a atc 500r 3- wheeler then they would have made a 500r four wheeler when suzuki came out with the 500 quadzilla to keep up with the them. The only honda 500r's that I heard of had the suzuki motor on them.

yeah iv thout bout that but i think they really did i dont know may be its me want to believe it i dont know but somthing makes me think so if there is one in calafona some where and when the guy dies that owns it his kids will probilly sell it so we will probilly see it on baret jackson ine day and there is proof cause some pro racer tested one

you could be right man i never herd that but it could be but some pro racer guy test drove one in like 86 and they were soppost to be biger then a 250r thats acrodding to him

my dad had a cr250 3 wheeler i used to ride it all the time but he traded it for some nice mud tires if i ever come across one im buying it for my self i was so upset when he got rid of it loved that awesome 3 wheeler
