| If its the common transaxle setup you could go to a machine shop and get someone to make you an axle with the keyway in it and c clip grooves but you would be expecting probably $200-$300 but it would also lock the rear end. | |

| ummm, go to a store and look for an axle that is double the size you want each tire to go out(then cut it in half) and see how much they would sell one for and then get an old tire and cut the center out of it to connect the two axles together. It would work temporary then you could try to weld it upstraight. but that would be alot of work trying to get it straight and making sure it holds your weight plus the spinning motion. You might be able to get the axle done even cheaper if you find the right machine shop. | |

| What rim is on the front, is it stock front rim or a keyed rear style rim? Was it greased? I'm trying to determine the problem with your front wheel being stuck. Pictures would help with seeing what you have. | |

| If you have a welder and spare 8" rims you could weld 2 together for width. If thats too wide ou could cut the spacer wheel down to the center. I've seen it done with a larger rim over a smaller, like a 10" over an 8", same idea. | |

| Can you weld? Say with a stick (7018). If yes: You can but get a peice of round stock (tubing) thats the same size as your axle and weld it onto it. Bevel both sides (axle and new piece to weld on) then make sure there even and lined up straight with your axle, make a solid root pass around, grind it down a bit, then weld a filler pass. Then use a tiger disk to make it look like one solid axle. With 7018 and a good weld, I'd never worry about it breaking. Then use a matabo to cut your C-Clip and keyway grooves. Not that hard if you can weld/fabricate. I wouldn't do this if you have just some welding experiance, as a bad weld leads to a bad result. If no: (probably the easiar way out, maybe not the cheapest though) You could find some say 3/4 (if thats your axle size) hubs, weld them on the axle itself.. then find you some 4/4 pattern wheels to fit. Then you can just get spacers to get about whatever width you want. I dunno if any of this helps but I figured Id say something in the matter | |

| The bolting might work, but they'd need to be very long and you would need sleeves over them. Even then I don't know about it. | |
