Lugged this beast into the garage before it rains. It's much bigger than I thought. Laughing Notice the train horn on the seat. It's mostly done. Just have to make a permanent mount and a paint job.

I might charge up a tank, throw it in the back, and mount the horns. Shucks, the guy who made the plans put his on his golf cart. I might start making videos soon.

Well, several days ago, I worked on the tractor, removing the old engine and putting the twin on. I cleaned all the caked oily grease off the frame and engine. I will be doing the same to the old engine later. Both were a mess. Believe me, I've worked with caked grease and it's no fun. I had to clean a whole transmission covered with this stuff. No As of now, it's sitting on the tractor. I bought a new oil and fuel filter for it and put new oil in it. Now I just need to drill the holes for it and fire it up for a test run. Very Happy Of course, this big engine produced a couple problems(as always Rolling Eyes ). One, the fuel tank won't fit. Almost fits, but not quite. The mounting holes don't line up. Other than that, it's mostly a good fit. Stay tuned as I'll be doing a startup video.

I ran it yesterday(video to come soon) and that sucker fired right up and boy it sounded good. I said it once and I'll say it again, I love apposed twins. Very Happy It might need some tweaking I think as it sounds more like a V8 than an apposed twin. As a little side note, the mounting holes acctually were there. I never noticed them. Laughing Very Happy
