I got a new tractor to add to the collection and the thing cant climb hills at all and cant go through a puddle because of belt slip, should i go 1:1 ? because its got a 3 inch up front and 2 in back also any other eay to help would be appreciated

Yea try 1:1 but not with anything under like 4or 5in the bigger pulley is less slip!

Run tractor supply 7in pulleys! Guarantee no slip lol Pony didn't slip ever. As long as the belt stayed where it was supposed to be lol.

Yeah its not your ratio thats the problem, its the size of the pulleys a 3/2 or a 5/4 will give you same speed but with more grip.

On a 2" pulleys there's really not much surface area for the belt to hold on too.
