| Actually only thing i liked about snow was snowmobiling- after 30 years of shoveling and cold weather ( and damn people that dont know how to drive in snow) - i dont really miss it. Plus summer here lasts 10 months, and 2 months of cold - not 6 months of cold and 6 months of summer. | |

| Lol yeah, I used to get mad at people not being able to drive in the snow, they drive too fast and drive on summer tires, but now I laugh heartily at them when thy crash, and since I have a 4x4, I pull people out of the ditch sometimes hehehe. I can't wait for the first big snow I'm gonna burn about 100$ of gas between my 2 mowers and my truck lol | |

| Id always 'test ' the roads - id see if theres any slipping during acceleration and slipping during stopping - if there was, then id drive slow/cautiously - if the truck handled normal then id drive normal. I always hated the slow pokes doing 20mph for no reason .
My 89 f150 had BF goodriches on it- i NEVER got stuck with those on it- were a good all season tire. My 99 however, the new stock firestones were JUNK! I spun and slipped all over- i put a set of firestone firehawk 500's on em and talk about a difference - they wore like iron ( i had about 60,000 miles on em) but started showing age cracks recently ( they still had tons of tread left) - so i replaced em with a light duty truck tire ( tire guys didnt want to put 'passenger car' tires on a truck ) . Those firehawks were awsome in rain and snow - 1st day i had them on the truck, it was raining - i had to stop suddenly and truck stopped on a dime - no sliding at all. I drove thru 3' of unplowed snow no problem with those on as well. | |

| If any of you have seen my most recent video, you'll know we've had an unusual dump of snow. Forcasted to go onto at least saturday, snowing every day. Last night we had about 6 inches, I'll try and get a photo tomorrow of the picnic bench, theres a huge amount of snow on it. Unfortunaly driving a lowered car is my downfall, managing to ground out alot of places | |

| Yup stock tires work awesome in some types of snow, powder and packed powder are ok. Wet snow, forget about it! My bald ATV tires grab crazy like in the last cold snow we had, but I couldn't move in the wet stuff. I'm waiting for more snow now, it's been mild and rainy for almost 2 weeks now.... We had a quick freeze and then it went back to mild. Gotta love NS weather. | |

| Man I haven't been on here in forever....But holy crap we finally have some snow!! It's been -10 -12 for the past few days, up to 0 today but supposed to get colder again. The ponds on the marsh behind my house are frozen solid. Had the Rally out there yesterday, sorta boring. Decided to fire up the racing mower while I had the chance for ice. THAT is FUN!!! I hate driving through the woods / trails to get to the marsh but it's totally worth it. Nothing more fun than drifting and whoop-t-doos going 50-60 kmh on the ice!!!!!!! Unfortunately I don't have any pics due to breaking my camera while snowboarding I need a new camera, again. | |
