Looks good! Now that I am having shop class we have a plasma cutter on a bench with an electrical/ hydraulic arm that is attached to our teacher's computer. Not sure what the actual term is for this is. LOL. I think it runs off a program like CAD, oh BTW We have CAD too! YAY!

Not to get off subject but would you want a support bearing off the 700 output shaft? Never been around hardcore racing mowers like yours TD.

Not bearing no, just a support to fit snuggly around the input shaft. The output is pretty strong.

That's cool, hope you will be able to use it, to make some cool stuff. cheers

Got the strange Peerless gear shalter watercut, And Bellcrank all in Alloy 6082, nice and lightweight but very strong.
- Still it seems that every part of this tractor is doing my head in. But maybe that's what I like in the end, a challenge!

I think im gonna mount the gearshifter like in the picture, it will be less in the way that way... It is a drift shifter originally for a BMW.

Yeah Razz , no as you can see I need to cut the bellcrank shorter, so the holes come in handy dandy then.

And sure what dia, dia holes and what material? Titanium? Razz

Are the holes for your top Peerless mount off? They don't look lined up right. Maybe it is just an optical illusion.

They are off, cause it's just loose. Need to thread those holes in the Peerless, and ya think i have the proper bolts to do that here? nah Very Happy

Yeah lol, I have bolts for it, but not "mower" bolts, mowerbolts have a slot in them so they cut the thread as you screw em in. But those i got have not. So guess it'l work if i do it slow.

No room for a chain tensioner...

Should it hug the output or axle sprocket? I know it's supposed to just be huggin the chain but there is no room for that. scratch

Yup if I had a 5/16th tap, they aren't very common around here. Or do you mean just any tap and bolt? Yes but I want it stock

Got the Exhaust wrapped, might add a center heatshield too.

TD's John Deere 210 R - "Help I Shrunk my John Deere 210"! - Page 20 E44B5513-17AA-44C2-BF30-AA6AF8D84B10_zps6piufdhu

And I had a 6/16th Tap afterall. bounce

TD's John Deere 210 R - "Help I Shrunk my John Deere 210"! - Page 20 9B644D48-767F-467F-B2FF-4B648F4685F2_zps0henpvbi

Also cut and grinded the Alloy bellcrank to fit, Tho the clevises are the biggest issue cause they are just that, big!

TD's John Deere 210 R - "Help I Shrunk my John Deere 210"! - Page 20 80EC30C3-38F9-458A-8540-16CDB9435EFB_zpsrei6yf0b

I also cut a piece off that and grinded this, so now im going to weld the black thingy in the picture to the Peerless 700 bolt down mount to act as a chain tensioner mount. - Then just run a normal spring for it.

Your fancy brackets make the peerless transmission casting look kind of primitive. Nice deal. You serious about an oil cooler? You know you could take the transmission fluid heat "exchanger" out of a car radiator tank if you want a neat looking cooler. Some of them are brass so you could polish it up and some have inlet/outlets for regular rubber line.

For example...

I think that is a plug over one of the oil passages.
