| get the craftsman, ayp's have really strong frames, they are easy to mod, with that square hood, you could fit a big motor, the tranny is probaly a peerless mst series, they are alot of different mods you can do easily on that mower | |

| Id get the craftsman or murray. The older murrays have really strong frames, and the flex alot, but they wont break or crack | |

| I vote old sears if its the 3 speed that means it is probably the old cast iron style helluva puller if you get the right motor | |

| The sears looks like it is missing a few things to me, I love the way it looks and it would look amazing if it was restored. The older murrays have always looked cool to me as well because they kind of remind me of a race car (no idea why). If the sears is complete I would go with it because its old and most likely has a cast iron in it, The old ones never seem to die like the new tractors. | |

| well here is the deal all 3 pics i found on the internet
so the old sears the real one has not rear tires no lights not gas tank but everything else is on it but it looks just as rough as the one in the pic
and the crftsman is missing the rear tires what is with rear tires but anyways and seat but i dont know how the motor is has no deck and it is lightly used
the Murray has no deck not seat and not hand throttle or key switch
the only reason i dont have pics is because they said not videos or pics of the yard and i dont want to be kicked out so i promise it happened

| Get the craftsman. That is all I run currently. They have really good frames and the big hood for bigger motors, like stated above. I'd get it and make it a rally . BTW... That old Sears has a peerless 600 not the heavy-duty ones like what fearless has in his Sears. | |

| The old sears is going to be the beefiest.
But don't get it because it has a cast iron rear... If you are going to be dissatisfied with the speed, and want to replace the rear anyway.

| Well if they have every kind of MTD I have question. See if they got a MTD yard machine GT 18/46 14 speed HI-LO transaxel. If so how much. And my vote is the mower that you like the most. In my eyes there all about the same. Maybe go for looks an get da craftman? | |
