| Just picked up a lawn tractor, it's am oldy. It's red and the lettering on the side says "trans axle drive" and "eager 1" it's a sears craftsman and I need to know a little bit more info, I tried googling it and I thought somebody on here would know what it is. | |

| an "eager 1" is generally a tecumseh engine on a craftsman push mower. it IS a riding mower right? gotta have some pics. | |

| look for a series of numbers on the shroud of the engine. the first is the model. the 2nd set is the serial. the first 2 numbers of the serial are the year, the 3rd and 4th should be the month of manufacture. if im not mistaken, which is possible
