I just picked up these for free the other day. 7 hp, pull start. the bevil gear box is frozen on one of them, so I think that it will get the onan twin, and i will run a belt to the axle. i think they look like the allis chalmers D19 farm tractors.

I have one of those too. They are the first real (4 wheel) garden tractor Simplicity ever made. Do you happen to have the model numbers?

Very cool little Tractors.
Very similar to my Allis Chalmers 710, Same set up just bigger and the body is different lol.

well one of them I got to fire. I am testing it by putting pulleys on the crankshaft sticking out of the grill. the carb needs cleaned, won't work unless I pour gas in the throat. I am using the landlord to crank it.

ok got one to run, and it won' run over about 2800 rpm. it starts backfireing like crazy and sounds like the world is coming to an end. other than that, its top speed is about 3 mph. so today we are pulley swapping it. probibly a 4 on the tranny and a 5 on the gearbox.
