Mower campout/ride this fall, My house? Phoenix Offroad?

Ive never been on the trails personally, but it does look pretty muddy, so Id guess the dynamark, though most of the trails look like they have some hills, but we can always just walk the tractors if the hills are too steep

I much rather have to walk a few hills rather than constantly getting hung up and stuck, well see I'll watch a couple videos and look at the trails

I thought this was going to be a trip just for the Sears Killers

@Crazy_Carl Sears killer is made for flat mud bogs not hills, also it needs a rear axle still fully operable but one of the bearings makes a horrid growl

Is there a date set in stone yet. Might be able to make it although my junk has been broken all spring and summer long. Did get another transaxle to fix it but i haven't even opened it up yet to see if it's any good.

As to the trip
If it's a Saturday, I'll have to take it off. That's no big deal. During the week is out for me.

Which tractor you planning on bringing mud stir? I’m just curious I like both your builds. Looks like the dates gonna be 27/28 and they said it’s always a lot slower on sundays so let’s just just say the big romp will be on Sunday so we don’t run into as much traffic

Ok I just realized I have plans with my wife I forgot about, going to a EMS Ball, shes already bought a dress and stuff for it, Im a guy so I forgot, so this is officially just a one day ride, unless someone else wants to organize for saturday. Im planning on being on the trails bright and early sunday and planning on riding all day.

Maybe we could do a different weekend but I'm down for saturday.  Is anybody else?

I'm fine with Sunday only. Being late October should give me time to get mine fixed and a few tweaks done to it. But if date was to change to a closer one I'm fine with that also cuz I'm more of a fan of warmer weather.  

Creepycrawler- I have a craftsman lt1000 I'd bring. It's really nothing fancy just a trail runner.

Redzz02- been trying to hunt down an 820 for over a year now. But right now I'll kinda take anything that has some nice clean input gears in it. I run a little aggressive on my pulley swap and have a pretty stiff spring on the clutch.  So I keep chewing up the input shalf  gear.

@muddstir I don't have any 820s I'm willing to spare but I do have two axles out of Murray wide body's, and I have a 5 spd 930? Series out of a dynamark if you're interested

Well I'm not really into camping in a tent in late October, but there are some hotels within a half hour of Tecumseh Trails, I'm planning on driving down saturday, riding with everyone on sunday, then driving back monday

sounds good buddy, not sure if your into hiking but theres some great hiking trails in the area too

Well you know I am not super excited about tecumseh Trails but I ordered a carburetor for mine today so it should be installed and ready to go I would probably be doing Sunday only though because I have a wedding to attend on the 27th.

The ride will only be sunday, and we will be happy to have ya. Be good to see the ol sears back on the trail

They may have some cabins available to rent at Begley's ATV Campground in new straitsville but I'm not sure if they still do that or not.

All right! I booked the Eaglesnest at Hidden Gem Cabins for the weekend.

The buyers of my house picked Nov 7 for closing. As long as nothing comes up with inspections or moving of closing date it looks good for me still.   But I will say if is miserable cold and snowing I'm probably not going to make it.

You never know about the weather in October, but it’s very very rare to be snowing in Oct around here, so we should be safe, but I’m more worried about rain than snow, but nothing to be done about that really. I have nice waterproof riding gear, so I’m not opposed to riding in the rain, but I totally understand that most people don’t want to do that especially if it’s very cold and rainy

It's going to be 65 and sunny.

If all goes well with some house projects Im gonna try to sneak over saturday to do some trail scouting on my bike
