4x6 Murray mud mower

I'm working on adding another transmission to the back end of my lifted mower. I'm building it so it is completely independent from the main mower. I was wondering how y'all think it would do in mud??

it should do ok just turning with 2 locked transmsions

Anyone else got any ideas for it??

I was close to making a 4x4 from my agway ( looks just like yours) - till i got a beefy GT murray - i was gonna add a peerless 5 speed up front with a setup similar to a noma 4 wheel steer setup - and 4 atv wheels/tires.

Ill try to post some pictures tonight if I can figure out how to post them.. I'm using the original stamped steel frame and I'm going to try and use a belt drive if it can handle the flex.

I figured if i put the trans up front , id need to reinforce it or build a sub frame, pretty much for me to mount the steering stuff to.

When i ran my agway thru a swamp behind the folks house - it was totally stock, i swapped on some turf tires for turning traction up front , had planned on getting AGs for the back , if i kept it up there.

It did surprising well for a stock setup, the rear tires just spun alot, even running a couple PSI in the tires. I did the large front tire swap, mild drive pulley swap ( not for high speed, just for a lil more then geriatric stock low speed)- then my nephew told me about this GT for cheep ( has no motor) - so i put the agway back to stock.

I would put it up front but I don't have a transmission off of a rear wheel steer. The only way I would know to do it without one would be by makeing my own frame that articulates in the middle. I really don't want to have to build a whole new frame make it work though. If you have any ideas please let me know.

Im going to get some steel and attempt at making my own steering setup - i have a few good pics off ebay of noma all wheel steer transmissions - it doesnt look like itd be that hard actually - trip to TSC for a couple 3/4" u joints, couple hiem joints - some welding and fabrication it should work , unless someone else is selling a cheeper complete or steering setups off a noma tractor - one i saw the guy wanted $500 for the whole thing - i can build one cheeper.

When i get around to working on it ill post pics ( id say after the holidays most likely).
