I've been working on this tractor for a while now. So far ive added extra headlights, taillights, reflectors, a stack, tool boxes, emergency brake, and a power outlet. Ive added extra washers for the steering, water proofed and regreased the transaxle, reparied the hood, removed reverse, (the shifter wad rubbing on the belt and it did not shift well any way), removed the mower deck brackets, installed a support in the back of the frame and pulley swapped it three times. The first pulley swap i put a 4.5 in on the back. This got me to 10 mph. The second i put a 3.5 in on the back. This got me to 12 mph. The third i put a 5.5 on the engine and left the 3.5 on the back. This got me to 24 mph. WAY TOO FAST! My target spped was to be around 16 to 18. 20 is to fast. I plan on changing the rear pulley back to the 4.5 and we will see where that gets me. Also my current set up works really well. The belts dont slip even in water and i can still tow my flatbed. My future plans are heated a seat, a heater, bigger more agressive front and rear tires, a front bumper, a better front steering link, and when this tranny goes a new tranny and shifter so i can have reverse again. I offroad with ths tractor, travel to the store with it, and pick up new tractors. I will post some pics tomorrow! Very Happy

Wow, this thing is a beast. I'm a huge fan of stacks on mowers and i love this one. Can you explain how you attached it to the motor? I've been wanting to make one for a while

Thanks! For the stack i went to my farm store and got some 1 inch threaded pipe. I belive i got a 6 inch pipe, an elbow, an 8 inch pipe and an adapter to increase the pipe size from 1 inch to 1.25 inch. My stack fit perfectly on the 1.25 inch adapter. I still have to get the slack welded to the 1.25 inch adapter so it doesent flop around. As for the stack i found it in my dads parts 22-B he said it was the old stack on his komatsu. It was cheap and very simple to do.

Also after driving this tractor for a few days now i have decided to leave my pulleys the way they are. 24 mph doesnt feel scary any more and the tractor stlill handles fine. 24 mph I found really helps for traveling long distances. Yesterday i traveled 16 miles round trip to my friends house to pick up 2 parts tractors on my flatbed. I got an agway gt 18 and a dynamark which are far from complete but are very good for parts. We estimated the weight to be around 700 pounds. 200 for the trailer, 300 for the gt 18, 100 for the dynamark and another 100 for me. I was loaded and out where we live there lots of steep hills to go up and down. The treactor pulled great and i was amazed i made it home. I was moving above 20 mph most of the time. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

On most engines the pipe will thread right in. Before you buy the pipe just remove the muffler and see if you have threads in the block. Also there is a price to pay for hauling heavy loads. The right tire on my flatbed locked up 4 miles away from home today on the way to pick up an agway lt 11 and then my belt broke. So i had to wait a few hours for my dad to tow me home. Wink Wink
